This was a really unique experience! I'm not especially good at games, so I can't say much about the controls on tank turning/without, but I can appreciate the aesthetic that they contribute to.

The sound and visual design is really impeccable. I love the ambient music, combat remains unnerving even when you're repeating a level to remedy an accidental death because of the impact sounds, and it just looks amazing.

My only criticism with the camera angles (and this is probably due to my skill level) is that in either control scheme, it's really hard to judge where I'm really attacking, especially when the camera is far away. Sometimes it's easy to run around and get in hits, other times I'm so focused on figuring out where "front" is that I just end up dying. Pressing E twice might be a nice feature if my grasp on space were better.

I've been following this game for a long time, and I really can't wait to see the full thing!

Reminds me of those tests they perform on you to check your peripheral vision. Or the ones they use to test for ADHD.

Nice game.

This is really fun! I've always been a fan of these sorts of rogue-likes, and the design is really crisp and beautiful (pixel art ftw).

My main gripes are as follows:

There should be some indication of ranged attacks from enemies. Right now, they just kinda appear, and though I'm pretty sure they'll be at the top of all the other attacks, it's still pretty easy to lose track of them. A distinct sound (a call in an ancient language, maybe?) should suffice.

The dash feels weirdly unintuitive. I didn't even realise it was a thing until a few playthroughs. I just assumed it was similar to evade, and when I did start using it, keeping track of the cooldown was too much for me to care about. Plus, most builds kinda make it redundant. If you have regen/evade/can clear everything in your path, dashing is kinda pointless. If you could add a damaging version as an upgrade, that would resolve those issues, I feel. (also add a cooldown bar, please).

I can't wait to see how this turns out over time!

Name's Siset and I make visual novels. My latest release is "Wahn und Traum," which is a Genshin Impact fangame.
